The Opening Press-Conference within the project “The living cultural heritage of two nations on one scene” has been organized and held on 25th of February, 2023 in Strumica. This was the first event organized within the project.
The event was organized with the aim to inform the general public, media representatives, officials, target groups and other relevant stakeholders about the planned activities, project objectives and expected project results.
Total of fifteen (15) participants attended the Opening Press-Conference in Strumica, including joint project implementation team from Association Tourist Union Strumica – Strumica, North Macedonia and National Community Centre “Bratya Miladinovi – 1936” Mikrevo, Bulgaria, representatives of local authorities where the both partner’s organizations operate, representatives of regional and local media, general public and other relevant stakeholders.
During the press-conference, the EU source of funding was appointed and promoted in order to inform the public.
The project is co-financed by the European Union and the national funds of the participating countries in the Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020 (CCI No. 2014TC16I5CB006).
